Utilizing the information obtained in several area visioning sessions, the Staples Community Foundation will focus on the following priorities in its future grant making:

1. Strengthening Youth and Families

- Foster family togetherness and involve youth in local decision-making.

2. Improve Community Appearance

- Increase community pride and visitor appeal through local beautification projects.

3. Increasing Community Involvement and Sense of Belonging

- Utilize the gifts and assets of local people to build on the strengths of the Staples area.

  

  Leadership Minimize

The Staples Community Foundation Advisory Board consists of at least seven local volunteers who are appointed for three-year terms.  Individual members must reside in or work in the Staples area and demonstrate leadership capacity and commitment to philanthropy.  The Advisory Board elects a Chair, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer on an annual basis.
